Future MERGA Conferences

2011: Alice Springs

AAMT23/MERGA34: This is a joint conference of MERGA and AAMT. 2011 marks the first time that these two organisations will hold a single conference together. The conference will be held from July 3 to July 7, 2011. The theme will be Mathematics: Traditions and [New] Practices.

The conference website will be available after September, 2010. In the meantime, for inquiries about the 2011 conference please email the VP (Conferences).

Eary registration will close on May 4. The due dates for submissions are listed below.

Please note that the Proceedings will include both refereed and non-refereed papers, in two clearly labeled sections. Both AAMT and MERGA members, and other teachers and academics are encouraged to submit papers for either or both sections. Papers that are presented at the conference may be published in full:

  • In the refereed section: papers submitted for refereeing that were accepted for publication in the refereed section and the plenary papers
  • In the non-refereed section: papers submitted for refereeing that were not accepted for publication in the refereed section, papers submitted as non-refereed papers, and abstracts of short oral presentations, workshops, posters, and round-table discussions.
