Abstract
This paper explores the reflections of a primary teacher, Lisa, who began teaching her class just as Victoria entered a state-wide lockdown, prompting a shift to Emergency Remote Teaching. In professional interviews, Lisa evaluated the strategies she used during online instruction. She concluded that live sessions, interactive activities, small group workshops, and hands-on problem-solving tasks enhanced student participation and fostered more positive attitudes toward mathematics. Her experiences underscored the importance of building strong interpersonal relationships and adopting studentcentred approaches to mathematics teaching.
